But in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.
One of the most effective ways for us to share the hope we have in Jesus is through our personal stories. We suggest building your story into 4 frames:
As you prepare your story, the Gospel should be the spotlight. Having a 20-30 minute story and a 30-90 second pitch is wise. You never know when God may provide an opportunity for you to share Christ with someone.
We also celebrate these stories on a regular basis during our Sunday Gatherings. We call these weeks, “Story Sunday.” We get to hear of the miraculous work of God in the life of other believers. Story Sundays are meant to help us identify with others, be encouraged, and learn more about Christ from a variety of experiences. These are also a great opportunity to invite someone who isn’t following Jesus.
